IT professional. Interested in what AI can actually do.

I work in IT — infrastructure, systems, the less glamorous end of the stack. Outside of work, two things hold my attention: what AI is actually capable of right now (not the hype, the practice), and the way political events unfold and are reported.

This site sits at the intersection of those two interests.

The original question was simple: can AI do useful work on political information? Not summarise a Wikipedia article — that’s trivial — but take a week’s worth of press statements from six politicians, identify the positions, track how they shift, and present that in a way a reader can follow without needing a political science degree. The answer, it turns out, is yes, with caveats.

What you’ll find here is a set of experiments in that direction. Some posts are interactive — timelines you can scroll through, statement feeds that let you watch a crisis unfold in sequence. Some are more conventional analysis. All of them use AI in some part of the production process, from drafting to structuring to translation.

I’m based in Austria. The content is mostly in English, with source material often in Romanian, because that’s where my attention has been — Romania’s political situation in 2025–2026 is genuinely interesting, and almost entirely undercovered in English-language media. That will probably shift.

What this site is about

AI-assisted analysis

Using large language models to compress, structure, and surface meaning from large bodies of text — political statements, official documents, news cycles — that would take weeks to process manually.

Data as narrative

Building interactive visualisations that let readers move through events at their own pace. Timelines, chat-style statement feeds, comparative charts — the goal is always to make the data legible, not just present.

Transparency by design

Every piece of AI-generated content on this site is marked. The tools are visible, the process is documented where relevant, and the editorial judgements remain mine. AI accelerates; it does not replace.
